LT4® contains zinc methionine, manganese methionine, copper dibetaine and cobalt sulfate.

What Is LT4®?
LT4® is an organic source of zinc, copper, and manganese and an inorganic source of cobalt. Zinc and manganese are chemically-bonded to methionine while copper is chemically bonded to betaine.

Why are Methionine and Betaine Important?
Methionine is an essential sulfur-containing amino acid. It is one of the most limiting amino acids and cannot be synthesized in enough quantity by cattle to meet daily requirements.

Betaine or try-methyl glycine is a component of many metabolic pathways. Chemically, it is similar to choline, one of the B vitamins.
